Role Description
As a 1099 independent contractor, you will collaborate closely with our CEO and Marketing Assistant to develop compelling short-form scripts, ad copy, and written marketing assets. This role requires a writer who can quickly embody our sleek, modern, confident brand voice and apply it seamlessly across various formats.
Responsibilities
Write short-form video scripts for social media, creator collaborations, and AI avatar content.
Develop persuasive ad copy for platforms including Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat.
Craft or refine product descriptions, website content, emails, and landing page messaging.
Partner with the CEO and Marketing Assistant to brainstorm concepts and create cohesive narratives.
Maintain a consistent brand voice across all written materials.
Adjust and optimize content based on performance insights or direction from leadership.
Conduct research into travel pain points, customer behavior, and competitive trends to strengthen messaging.
Requirements
Proven experience as a copywriter, ideally within DTC, e-commerce, travel, or consumer product industries.
Strong scriptwriting skills for short-form, high-engagement content.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Comfortable collaborating with a small marketing team.
Familiarity with social media trends and direct-response advertising formats.
Bonus: Experience writing UGC scripts, creator prompts, or AI avatar dialogue.
Qualifications
Strong writing and proofreading skills with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and accuracy.
Experience creating press releases and general marketing materials.
Excellent communication skills for collaborative remote work.
Solid understanding of marketing best practices across digital channels.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field preferred.

Contractors are responsible for managing their own taxes, equipment, and work environment.
Workload may vary based on campaign cycles, video production needs, and marketing initiatives.
Compensation will be hourly with additional bonus structure
