Backvac is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day e-commerce operations across Shopify and Amazon. This role is critical to ensuring smooth store management, timely order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, customer logistics, and operational efficiency across all platforms.
The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable managing a fast-paced workflow while coordinating with multiple departments—including marketing, logistics, customer support, and external vendors.
Oversee and manage daily store performance across Shopify and Amazon.
Monitor orders, fulfillment statuses, cancellations, and customer escalations.
Update product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels.
Ensure all product pages remain accurate, optimized, and compliant with platform standards.
Coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse team to maintain proper stock levels.
Forecast inventory needs using sales trends and historical data.
Manage inbound shipments to Amazon FBA and 3PL warehouses.
Track and resolve fulfillment issues, delays, or inventory discrepancies.
Coordinate product restocks, packaging updates, and SKU management.
Monitor KPIs across revenue, returns, fulfillment times, and operational efficiency.
Generate weekly and monthly operational reports with insights and recommendations.
Identify inefficiencies and implement systems to streamline workflows.
Work with the marketing team on product launches, promotions, and ad inventory planning.
Support the customer service team by resolving escalated operational issues.
Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and shipping partners to ensure timely execution.
Develop and refine SOPs to improve accuracy and efficiency across the business.
Implement tools, automations, or systems that enhance operational performance.
Maintain compliance across Amazon Seller Central policies and Shopify standards.
3+ years of operations experience in e-commerce, ideally with Shopify and Amazon.
Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and Shopify backend workflows.
Proven ability to manage inventory, logistics, and cross-functional coordination.
Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Analytical thinker with experience interpreting data to inform decisions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Experience working with 3PLs, FBA shipments, and international suppliers.
Familiarity with tools such as Shopify apps, Amazon reports, inventory software, and analytics dashboards.
Background in DTC, consumer products, or travel-related brands.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Experience developing SOPs or operational frameworks.
